FAQ – Technical Issues
a) I am having trouble logging in.
Please try logging in using your username or email address, and your nominated password.
If you are still having problems, try resetting your password.

b) I can’t play the video in my course (e.g. CIMC, YCIDS).
Please try the following steps to troubleshoot:
- Pause the video to let it buffer. You will see a grey bar progress along the bottom of the video. Playback should be smooth within this grey bar or “buffer region”.
- Try turning HD (high definition) off. HD video can sometimes be difficult for even high-speed internet connections to handle.
- Try playing another video on Vimeo (e.g. other videos on our website or on Vimeo’s website) to test whether all other content from Vimeo is working.
- Use a different Internet browser to view the course (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari).
- Try a different device (e.g. desktop or laptop, Windows or Mac).
- Please contact Vimeo directly at http://www.vimeo.com/help/contact, and they will run through other troubleshooting steps with you.

c) I am having trouble with the audio of my course (e.g. CIMC, YCIDS).
Please try the following steps to troubleshoot:
- Check the audio output settings on your computer.
- Ensure the volume is at the maximum level on both the video player, and your device.
- Use external speakers.
- Use a different Internet browser to view the course (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari).
- Try a different device (e.g. desktop or laptop, Windows or Mac).
